What is your style of photography?
My style is a mix of traditional and photo-journalistic. As the events of the day unfold, we photograph to capture your moments as they happen. Most of the time it is better to observe instead of having everyone look and ‘say cheese’. The idea is that you and your guests enjoy this amazing celebration with limited interruption, giving us the chance to take candid shots that capture the spirit and emotions of the day. This is how the story of your wedding day is told for years to come.
Do you photograph posed group/formal shots?
Yes. The traditional side of what we do feels that every wedding and event should have a few of these thrown in. Typically group and family photos are done right after the ceremony, but there are different options as to when these may be taken. Do you direct and pose couples? While the photos of the day will mostly be candids, there will be moments of more traditional poses.
Do you shoot the dress, shoes, flowers etc.?
Absolutely! All the details of this day are important and we will work together to ensure we know what is important to you.
Do you attend the rehearsal?
We can definitely attend your rehearsal and or dinner. If you wish to hire us to photograph the rehearsal or the rehearsal dinner, an hourly rate of $100 applies.
How far in advance of the wedding do we need to book you?
The summer months are much more popular than fall and winter and it is always a good idea to secure your photographer as early as you can. Reservations may be taken up to 18 months before the wedding date and your wedding is the only scheduled for that day.
Do you offer albums, prints and other products?
While it is very popular to have your images on a disk or printed as 4×6 prints, there is something extra special about having an album which has been custom designed to showcase your unique wedding story in the best possible way. Yes, we offer a number of different types of albums and special products for every budget. Further details may be requested.
Do you have a web gallery for friends and family to purchase prints after the day?
Yes. All images will be put into your personal online gallery (password protected) where your friends and relatives can see them and order prints, albums and gifts.
